Commercial Cleaning Company Honored for Community Commitment, Pandemic Service, and Success
Culver City, California, October 25th, 2023 – Servicon, Southern California’s leading hospital environmental services (EVS) provider and commercial cleaning services company, earned the Family Legacy Award from the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Los Angeles. The award honors companies that have demonstrated outstanding growth and leadership in their respective industries. Servicon was honored for its long-term success, commitment to the community, and services during the pandemic.
“We are unbelievably honored and humbled to receive such a prestigious award and congratulate the other winners,” says Servicon Communications Manager Greg Mahdesian, who accepted the award at the ceremony held October 11 at the Skirball Cultural Center in LA. “We are proud of our dedicated workers every day, but especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. They could have stayed home. Instead, our staff worked tirelessly to prevent the spread of infection and protect the health and safety of the people in healthcare, manufacturing, and other essential facilities. We believe Servicon has always done well by doing right. We are committed to improving the lives of our workers and the communities in which they work and live.”
In his acceptance speech, Mahdesian talked about Serivon’s work to create a Better Working Future by finding ways to improve the work-life balance for essential workers and invited the audience to join the company in its efforts.
“A lot of the discourse about the future of work overlooks essential workers, people that can’t take advantage of work from home, whose jobs can be stressful physically and emotionally,” said Mahdesian. “We are putting together a working group to provide opportunities and flexibility for them, and if anyone would like to join us in this mission, please come introduce yourselves to us so we can make progress together.”
