New Servicon CEO Craig Honig Charts a People-First, Performance-Driven Next Chapter

Three-decade service leader brings an operations-first vision to the family-rooted environmental services company, with a focus on workforce, client outcomes, and innovation

CULVER CITY, Calif. – July 7, 2026 – Servicon, the Culver City-based environmental services company that has set the standard for healthcare, aerospace, and facilities for more than 50 years, today shared the vision and priorities of Chief Executive Officer Craig Honig, who stepped into the role in May 2026.

Honig joins Servicon at a time when organizations are asking more of the environments where people work, heal, and innovate. While the industry continues to evolve, he believes the company’s enduring strengths – its people, culture, and commitment to service – position it well for the future.

Honig sees technology as a way to strengthen the consistency and performance clients expect from Servicon. The company’s innovations partnerships span robotics, AI-enabled disinfection, and indoor air quality. As a longtime believer in the role of emerging technology in facilities services, Honig sees continued investment in these areas as a way to give frontline teams better tools, better data, and safer work.

“Technology doesn’t replace the people who do this work; it makes them more effective and keeps them safer,” Honig said. “The companies that win the next decade in this industry will be the ones that pair a great workforce with the right innovation. Servicon is well-positioned to be one of them.”

While innovation will remain a priority, Honig says Servicon’s greatest strength has always been its people and culture.

“Servicon is one of the most respected and distinctive companies in our industry,” Honig continued. “For more than 50 years, this team has built something rare, a values-driven company that competes and wins at the highest levels of healthcare, aerospace, and mission-critical work. My focus is the same as it has always been here: take care of our people, take care of our clients, and let outcomes speak for themselves.”

Honig’s early priorities center on operational excellence; sharpening the consistency, measurability, and discipline that define service in the most demanding environments. He sees Servicon’s deep operational bench and skilled, often cleared, workforce as the foundation of that work, and the reason clients in healthcare, aerospace, and other critical sectors trust the company with spaces where there is no margin for error.

“The work our people do is essential, and it’s technical,” Honig said. “When you’re cleaning a hospital, a cleanroom, or a secure aerospace facility, the standard isn’t ‘looks clean’, it’s measurable, validated, and accountable. That’s where this company already excels, and it’s where I want us to keep raising the bar.”

Honig brings more than three decades of experience leading large, complex facilities and service organizations to Servicon. Most recently, he served as President, West Division at ISS Facility Services, North America, one of the world’s largest workplace experience and facility management companies. He has led integrated facilities management for North America at Cushman & Wakefield, spent more than a decade leading corporate real estate and facility operations at Anthem, Inc., and held senior roles at BGIS and SBM Management Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific.

Honig succeeds Laurie Sewell, who led Servicon as President and CEO from 2017 and now serves as Special Advisor through the end of 2026. He joins a leadership team and the Mahdesian family, whose commitment to employees, clients, and community has shaped Servicon’s culture for more than half a century.
