Sustainability Policy Statement

Servicon is committed to protecting the environment, the health and safety of our employees, and the communities in which we conduct our business. Our commitment to sustainability permeates every stage of our operations, encompassing our facility management, business practices, client services, supplier partnerships, and community engagements.

It is our policy to conduct sustainable practices and proactively seek source-reduction initiatives to minimize environmental impact. Our goal is to ensure that every resource is utilized optimally, significantly curtailing waste and energy generation.

We are committed to identifying opportunities throughout our business operations to lessen our impact on the environment and partner with our clients and suppliers to drive impact by:

1. Resource Conservation:
   • Minimizing our environmental footprint by optimizing resource use, reducing waste, recycling, and adopting sustainable practices in our operations.
2. Renewable Energy:
   • Exploring and integrating renewable energy sources to power our operations wherever feasible.
3. Eco-Friendly Sourcing and Practices:
   • Prioritizing the use of non-toxic, environmentally friendly supplies, products, equipment, and processes in our business activities.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Finding and assessing more efficient methods to reduce waste, energy consumption, and emissions.
   • Investing in technologies and providing training that aligns with our sustainability objectives.
   • Providing ongoing input and perspective, reviewing data and research, and identifying sustainability goals and objectives through a Sustainability Council, made of a cross-functional team of employees and subject matter experts.
5. Community and Business Partner Engagement:
   • Making positive contributions to the communities in which we operate and where our employees reside through charitable initiatives aimed at environmental enhancement and protection.
   • Collaborating with local nonprofit organizations, businesses, community leaders, and residents to foster partnerships aimed at creating cleaner, safer environments.
   • Aligning with clients and suppliers to drive our collective effort in creating positive environmental impact and outcomes.
   • Working closely with clients to assist them in achieving their sustainability goals, including waste diversion and energy and water conservation.

At Servicon, our commitment to sustainability is an ongoing endeavor, and we expect everyone in the organization to do their part. We firmly believe that by ingraining sustainability across our organization and operations, we can drive positive change for both people and planet while also generating good business results.
