The Role

Servicon is a leading facility services provider, specializing in innovative cleaning solutions. We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Floorcare Trainee. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a critical skill that is in high demand throughout the industry.


• Learn and perform various floor care duties, including but not limited to stripping, waxing, buffing, and general maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist experienced floor care technicians in carrying out their duties.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve high-quality results in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, tools, and work areas.

What It Takes to be Successful

  • Previous janitorial/custodial/ or environmental services (EVS) experience is preferred, but it is not required.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a valid (non-expired) Driver’s license
  • Must be able to successfully pass a Livesca
