The Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team. As an Electrician in our company, you will be responsible for a range of tasks from lighting maintenance and installation to evaluation of existing electrical systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assemble, test, install, and maintain equipment, lamps, ballasts, and fixtures.
- Investigate the causes of system and equipment failures.
- Identify critical systems that could pose hazards and communicate them to the management team.
- Utilize a wide range of testing equipment to assess electrical systems’ continuity, amperage, and voltage.
- Install and maintain wiring systems for lighting, security, and fire equipment.
- Connect power cables and equipment.
- Implement grounding systems.
- Test equipment and electric systems.
What It Takes to be Successful
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a commercial electrician or similar role
- State Certified Journeyman License
- Ability to climb ladders and access awkward spaces.
- Knowledge and experience in building construction, mathematics, security, and mechanics.
- Adherence to safety procedures and legal regulations.
- Familiarity with appropriate building and fire safety codes.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Great organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
